Can’t remember your friend’s username? Or just want to find new content creators on Pinterest without typing in specific names? Pinterest has a handy feature that’ll help you to find more people on your board with similar interests to you.
When you’re on the website, click on the Following option at the top-right side of the screen. When you get on the Following screen, click on the icon of a person with a plus sign next to it. The site or app will then suggest new boards you may like. Just click follow next to the suggestions that look interesting.
Depending on if you’re using Pinterest through a mobile device or not, your home feed will have two different tabs, on mobile these will be called browse and watch, on anything else these two will be called home, and today.

Home/Browse
The Home/Browse section can differ slightly, as on a mobile device the browse section will always be ideas and posts from creators that you follow on your pinterest account.
On anything other than a mobile device, instead you’ll have the home section, which will show you pins based on boards that you create, things that you search for, and ones that you engage with. This way you can search through all the content of people you’ve followed and new creators!
Today/Watch
The Today/Watch sections also differ slightly, but still have the goal of broadening your pinterest horizons through showing you different creators.
The Today section on non mobile devices will show you a specially curated collection of different ideas that are trending on pinterest on whatever day you’re active.
And the Watch section on all IOS and Android devices will show you pins from creators that you follow, and creators that Pinterest thinks you might also enjoy, so you can give them a follow too if you like what you’re seeing!

Search Ideas
You can even search for ideas instead of just people, simply follow the steps above to find profiles, but instead of typing in a profile you want to find, simply search for whatever it is you’re interested in. This could be anything from different lamp ideas for your bedroom, or themes as large as just typing Star Wars!
Unfollowing Someone
We get it, sometimes people just get annoying to be on your feed, or maybe you’re bored of what someone’s posting, luckily unfollowing a person on pinterest is just as easy as the above steps, and you’ll stop receiving posts from them on your feed as soon as you unfollow their profile! Simply follow the steps below:
First you’ll want to be logged in to your Pinterest account Navigate to the person you’d like to unfollow account, you can do this by either:
Entering a person’s name or Pinterest username in the search bar and press enter on your keyboard or Finding them on your feed and clicking through to their profile through there. Once you’re through to the person’s account, click the ‘Unfollow’ option at the bottom of their profile description
This person should now be unfollowed, and depending on their privacy settings you may not be able to see their posts now until you follow them again. Either way whilst they are unfollowed, you won’t see any of their pins come up on your feed again until you follow them once again.
